What are Captains?
Captains can lead marches alone or alongside your main Hero. Each Captain provides unique bonuses to your troops or economy. You can have multiple Captains active simultaneously, each leading their own march or granting bonuses to crypting, research, construction or troop training.
Captain Categories
Captains are divided into three main categories based on how they are unlocked:
- Starter Captains - Available after completing the tutorial
- Academy Captains - Unlocked through Academy research and Summoning Circle
- Premium Captains - Obtained through events, summoning, or special activities

Captain Level Cap
All Captains have a maximum level of 500. However, some Captains have bonus caps at certain levels:
- Doria - Valor Point bonus caps at level 300
- Dustan - CP bonus caps at level 300
- Carter - Crypt bonus caps at level 300
Equipment
Each Captain has 3 equipment slots (compared to your Hero's 6 slots). Choose equipment that complements their primary bonus for maximum effectiveness.
