The Clan Capital is the main clan building where all clan resources are stored and the clan territory is created around it. It also offers access to the Clan Researches and Clan Bonuses.
Attacking / Defending the Capital works similarly to Clan Forts with the exception that both are only possible when all Forts are in Conflagration status (burning). If the attack on the Capital is successful, all Clan Resources are stolen.
Clan Territory
Border
The border of the Clan Territory is automatically created in a circle around the Capital.
At the beginning, the radius of this border is relatively small. It can be expanded by collecting Help Points.
Each time you help a clan member by clicking on the help button, 100 Help Points are added to the clan.
The more Help Points your clan has, the larger the radius becomes, while the consumption required to maintain it also increases. To maintain a big radius, more help points are required each hour than to maintain a smaller radius.
The levels of required Help Points are: >0 | >20k | >100k | >200k | >500k | >1M | >2M
Territory_Help_Points.jpg20.78 KBInformation on the current amount of help points and consumption (see screenshot above) is visible in the Clan Capital. The radius shown here also applies to the Clan Forts.
Players
In the Capital's Menu, you can also see all players that have their city inside your clan territory.
The Leader and Superiors can kick players (members and non-members) out of the territory. This costs 4M silver, which is taken from the Leader/Superior who does this action.
The city from the player being kicked out is moved to a random location on the map (but in the same kingdom).
Bonuses
Clan Bonuses can be activated in the Capital. The amount of bonuses that can be active at the same time depends on the amount of Clan Forts you have (1:1).
Activating bonuses costs Religious Tractates which are produced in the Clan Temples.
Some bonuses are active for 1 day, some are active for 7 days, while this can be extended by Clan Researches.
The costs are also different for the different types of bonuses and can also be reduced by Clan Researches.
It is possible to disable activated bonuses early to switch to another one.
Researches (Technologies)
Clan Researches can be started in the Capital's Menu under Technologies.
Starting a new research costs Scientific Tractates (Red Books) which are produced by the Clan Universities.
Scientific Tractates are also available through different events like Ragnarok (in the Jorg Shop).
Note that researches that improve different stats of clan members only apply to members that have their city inside the clan territory.
Resources
Available & Production
You can see all available Clan Resources in the Capital. For resources that are produced by clan buildings, you can also see the production rate.
There are currently 3 Resources that are collected as Clan Resources after participating in various Events, that can't be used by the Clan itself but can be sent to its members:
Dragon Coins
Various Events, usually based on individual players placing
Torch of Olympus Clan Fragments (Artifact Fragments)
Olympus Event, based on Clan placing
Chronoglyph Clan Fragments (Artifact Fragments)
Dark Omens Event, based on Clan placing
The Clan Leader and Superiors can select the member and how much of these resources they want to send.
Capital_Send_Resources.jpg68.62 KBEach clan has different strategies on how to distribute them, while most are based on event or overall performance.
Reduce Ancient Tin Man level
In the resources tab of the Capital's Menu, there is also an option to decrease the level of the Ancient Tin Man.
Each Level reduction costs Seals of Suppression, a Clan Resource that can be won in the Dark Omens Event.
In the Clan Capital it is also possible to see the history of resources (RSS).
This includes:
City RSS sent by members to clan buildings via caravans
Clan RSS won by individual members in Events
Clan RSS won by the Clan in Events
Clan RSS won by members by defeating heroic monsters
Clan RSS sent from the clan to its members, see above.
Note that the history shows which member received the resources but not who sent them to this member in the Capital's menu. The entry "XY took resources" can therefore be misleading.
How to build it
To place a Capital, you must be Clan Leader or Superior. You can then click on any tile, select build and scroll down in the list of available buildings.
The building cost is 50M each of Lumber, Iron, and Stone. As they are city resources and not clan resources, they are taken from the player's resources, not from a clan resource pool.
Especially in new Kingdoms, it's therefore common that all clan members must send resources to a designated Superior/Leader who will collect them and then build the Capital.
Where to place it
The Clan Capital is the center of your Clan Territory. The territory can be expanded later with Forts, but it is important that there is enough place available to do so later. You should therefore select a spot with some distance to other clans. As the clan buildings need different tile types for highest bonuses, you should also check which tile types (forest, hills, sand) are nearby.
